“Nichole was great, very patient! With all of chaos that was going on she made sure everything was set up properly.”

-Ashley Floyd

I remember the very first time I saw Ashley at Livingstone College in 2008, she had her hair in a bun, red shirt, blue jeans and sandals. The only thing I could think of is how beautiful she was and how I absolutely had to say something to her. Although I only had spoken to her once that entire year, everyone on campus knew I had the biggest crush, I would get so nervous to the point of literal chest pains when she would walk by. It took me a couple years to get gain confidence, I finally got my crush in 2011. I always wondered if the type of woman Ashley is existed, God-fearing, humble, gentle, encouraging, I know she believes in me. Fast forward December 2015, I threw a late “birthday party” which was actually a surprise engagement. I proposed through video which I went back to Livingstone and with the help of some friends reenacted  how Ashley and I came to be. I can’t wait to vow my life.
